Job Description: We are seeking a software engineer eager to make a meaningful impact while quickly learning our systems. As a key member of the Systems Development Team, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of internal web applications and third-party integrations through full-stack development.
The Systems Development Team enhances company operations by developing in-house web applications and integrating third-party APIs to automate processes and empower our sales and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to efficiently address tasks, ranging from small bug fixes to larger feature implementations.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code, following best practices for readability and scalability.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and contribute to refining them into practical software solutions.
- Continuously learn and improve, applying feedback from code reviews and team discussions.
- Assist in debugging and troubleshooting issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
Required Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in software engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Perl, or desire to work in Perl (if you know Mojolicious, even better!)
- JavaScript
- SQL (MariaDB)
- Vue.js (or another modern framework)
- HTML/CSS
- Linux comfortability
